Khao Sam Roi Yod The first coastal National Park in 1996, covering the area of approximately 98.8 square kilometers. The landscape is high steep limestone mountains by the beautiful coast, matching with plain area stand by the sea, which are marshy beach and shallow sea pond.

The geological characteristic here is very high steep limestone that becomes the high steep cliffs as well as the deep abyss. Khao in Thai mean mountain, In side park have the highest peak of the hills is 605 meters above the mean sea level. 

Birding Tour  During the winter, December to February, it is the best time to come here for watching birds. There are the migrated birds and resident birds, so it is easy to watch the birds. As the suggestion, we should spend 2 days and 1 night to stay here.

       We believe that it is the bird watching line from the Site No.1 of Kaeng Krachan National Park and Site No.10 of Ban Pak Thale. The total duration is 8 – 9 days. For the other month, it is suitable for watching the resident birds, which are 150 kinds of birds such as Bronze-winged Jacana , Malaysia Plover, Pied Kingfisher, Lesser Whistling-Duck, White-throated Kingfisher, Collared Kighfisher, and Oriental Pratincole.

Photography Tour  The best time for taking the photograph especially birds and nature is winter, during December – February.
